Attack on Titan an unpredictable Anime: Review Ratings

Shingeki no Kyojin(Attack on Titan) is one of the most unpredictable Anime in the anime world. Seriously, you really can’t guess what’s going to happen in the next episode unless you are Sherlock Holmes or a mangaka.

Attack on Titan is a must-watch anime for all the anime fans even if you have just started your journey in the anime world. The series is filled with suspense and thriller. The plot is well developed and the characters are awesome. A great Anime to put in your “Watch first list”.

Attack on Titan is one of the most trending series. Recently the 3rd season ended with a large twist. Which of course I will not disclose, you would have to watch it yourself. Also, the fourth season is on its way!!

Introduction-

Attack on Titan is a story based on the theory that the human lives inside huge walls trapped in, and outside the wall, there are humans eating monsters that looks like human but are in the Giants form with no genitals.

The story revolves around the boy named Eren who joins the squad to kill the Titans (human Giants) but he gets caught in an incidents and himself becomes a Titan after being eaten by the Titan (Another classic storyline). The story takes the real curve from here and then he uses the power to help the village and to learn about the Titans.

This anime is a masterpiece of the story representing the conditions faced by the country. The internal affairs, politics inside the military, and the country. So to think that anime is solely on the action and adventure would be a huge mistake. And the funny thing is the politics is more interesting than the titans killing scenes.

The writer has given a lot of thought to make the story interesting enough in each of the episodes to keep the viewers engaged. If you are going to watch this anime you should watch out for Captain Levi. He is like the center of attraction in this series with a great story and a set of fighting skills.

Why you should watch Attack on Titan (Shingeki no kyojin)??

Immense Action-

Many of the viewers watch reviews because of this question. Why should I use my time for this anime? The answer is this is one of the best action and adventure anime in the anime world. The action scenes have a uniqueness to it because of the tools and weapons they use to fight the titans.

Attack on titan anime review

Every episode is overflowing with action scenes. The titans look dumb like the Zombies at first but they sure scare the hell out of the anime characters and even the viewers.

Exploration-

The anime really has the basic things to explore they don’t have mysterious islands and flying castles. The things the characters want to explore are our beautiful earth, the seas, the mountains, and the things that we have already seen in our life.

To think that someone will go through such a hell to just see things that we can see every time we feel like makes this anime more interesting with such simplicity.

The anime characters are living in the human settlement inside the walls and have never seen what the outer world looks like. This anime will definitely make you feel good for living in this world where we have so much freedom.

Thriller and suspense-

This anime is a great thriller anime, there are rumors that when this anime was first launched many of the people who watched this were suffering through the nightmares of the Titans eating them, titans looking through their windows. It is one of the scariest anime particularly in the first season; afterward, you will get a hang of it.

The anime is full of suspense in each and every episode without any filler in it. The artwork is nearly realistic the expressions of the humans the famous smiles of the Titans. I know you will love it. Just watch the first episode’ if you don’t believe me. I know that I won’t have to tell you to watch the 2nd episode you will do it yourself.

Awesome animation-

The animation in this series is not too off the chart but the fighting style in this anime demands great specs for animation. The point of view of the protagonist and the other characters when they fight with the titan makes it special. The way they go through the buildings and dodging the titans. The experience is no less than the amusement park ride.

Politics-

On the first view the anime’s story line seems to limited to the fight between the humans and the Titans, Right?

But this anime has much more to offer rather than just action and fight scenes. The real fight is between the humans inside the human settlement. The politics shown in this anime is really mind-blowing. I think the major fun comes from the politics part rather than the action and fight scenes.

Pros and Cons-

Pros-

Apart from plenty of reasons why you should watch it, there are many other reasons to start this anime right away. The anime also contains real-life philosophies and teachings that are useful to our real world. The things that are relatable to our real life is the thing that makes Anime interesting for us.

You will definitely like the thinking style of the characters in this anime. The character development is also pretty good. The anime is straight to the point and has no filler episodes.

Cons-

This anime is really filled with violent scenes such as people being eaten, crushed, and smashed and what not. This might be a problem for some of the viewers. As we have already discussed above that people are seeing titan eating them in their dreams after watching this anime. So it is definitely a no-go for the kids below 13 years.

As this anime contains a lot of politics and philosophy content, there are long conversations between the characters and it may bore you some times.

About Author/Writer/Artist of Attack on titan (Shingeki no kyojin)-

Hajime Isayama Sensei is a Japanese manga artist famous for his Attack on Titans series. He was not a good artist from the start but he built his own way to one of the best manga artists.

If you don’t believe me read his one-shot. His concept of Attack on Titans was rejected by many of the publishers. 42 publishers rejected his manga because of his drawing skills and for not being a professional.

He had reserved the seat for a clerk if his Attack on Titans would fail to work. And you know he will never work in the place of the clerk now. His comic has sold 76 million copies. He is one of the best mangakas out there.

Final thoughts-

I think everyone should watch this marvelous series you will never regret it. But the fans were a little angry about the series because the production company has reduced the anime to 12 episodes per season. Everyone doesn’t have such patience.

They probably release one season in 2 or 3 years’ time. But it’s good news for you because if you haven’t watched it yet. You have 3 seasons to watch and the fourth season is coming out soon. This is truly a must-watch series for all the anime fans.
